The Vancouver Whitecaps announced today that the English Premier League Manchester City FC in the Challenge Cup 18th World July 2011 hosts.

We have a history with the Whitecaps after playing in 1980 and 1981 at the Empire Stadium," said Garry Cook, chairman of Manchester City FC.
